Dermabrasion (Facial Skin Rejuvenation)

An Introduction

Mild wrinkles & fine lines near eyes, sagging jowls, forehead lines, mid & lower-face volume loss, and thin lips are often a sign of early ageing, and these can be addressed with the most advanced Non-Surgical options such as PRP, Micro-Fat Grafting & Botox injections. All of these procedrues are typically painless and can be performed on an outpatient basis. The procedure usually takes 30-60 minutes and you can go home at the very same day of the treatment. There is no down time, you can resume all the normal activities right away

The Procedure

Micro-injections, either using PRP, autologous Fat Grafting or Botox, can be performed fairly quickly. The procedures usually take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how large an area of skin is involved. It’s not uncommon for the procedure to be performed more than once, or in stages, especially when wrinkles are deep or a large area of skin is involved.

Smooth skin is just one of the signs of healthy, glowing skin. Although the skin renews itself naturally about every 20-days, in our 30s, this rate slow down as the process becomes less efficient as a result of skin damage. The top layer of skin is home to many minor skin imperfections like fine wrinkles, blemishes and acne scarring. Our non-surgical skin rejuvenations methods can help improve these skin conditions as well as treat sun damage and pigmentation.

How PRP Treatment Works?

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is concentrated blood plasma that contains higher number of platlet and it contains platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), transforming growth factor (TGF) and many bioactive proteins that promote skin rejuvenation. PRP is a facial rejuvenation treatment that uses your own plasma (derived from your own blood) to stimulate collagen production and cell migration, resulting in elimination of fine-lines, skin-folds, and wrinkles.

Results from PRP therapy are natural looking and subtle, and they can last for as long as two years. PRP is minimally invasive, has no risk of allergic reaction as compared to the fillers, and can be used without risks of side-effects.

Just like any routine blood test, your blood is taken and then spun in a centrifuge machine for around 8-10 minutes which allows the separation of cells, top of layer of blood and fibrin is extracted along with rich platlets, and then re-injected into the desired area. The whole procedure lasts for about 20-40 minutes and the amount of blood drawn from your body can be 10-30 ML depending on the targeted areas to be treated.

What is Vampire Face-Lift?

The Vampire Facelift uses micor-injections of the of a combination of PRP & Fat Grafting into the skin with a very fine needle, and only injected into the areas that need to be filled out or restored to create a smoother, rounder and plumper appearance. The term Vampire Facelift™ was trademarked by an Alabama-based physician, Dr. Charles Runnels. A Vampire Facelift™ is a combination treatment that incorporates PRP with the appropriate hyaluronic acid injectable fillers based on the patient’s specific needs to produce the most optimal results. The combination of hyaluronic acid fillers and PRP can address even deeper folds and wrinkles, producing a softer and significantly more youthful appearance that can last for 9-12 months. This option is often best for men and women who have more pronounced signs of aging due to smoking, excessive sun exposure, and other environmental and genetic factors.

Micro-Fat Grafting for Facial Skin Rejuvenation

Autologous Fat grafting is performed by extracting fat from the donor site (like tummy) through liposuction and reinjected to the required areas (recepient site) after special preparations. The results of fat grafting are not predictable, as almost 50%- 60% of the injected fat will be reabsorbed in the body and only 40%- 50% (or even less) is retained after fat grafting, which is considered the best amount of fat retention. And there are some medical standards as well as limitations in fat grafting, Touch-ups can be done if you need after seeing final results of procedure (after 6 months).

What is Botox Treatment?

Botox injections are popular for reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles. A thin needle is used to inject tiny amounts of botulinum toxin into your skin. The number of injections you need will vary, depending on a variety of factors, including the size of the area being treated. Botulinum toxin injections usually begin working a few days after treatment. The effect may last up to three months or longer. To maintain the benefits of Botox, you need regular follow-up injections.

Your skin will be a bit swollen, sensitive, and bright pink after above procedures. During this time, you can gradually begin to resume your normal activities. It’s important to protect your skin from the sun until the pigment has completely returned to your skin.

Refinishing treatments can offer dramatic improvements in the surface of your skin, but it will take some time before you see the final results.
